Jen Berry - Owner/Trainer

Jen is a Long Island native who grew up showing in Zone II on the A and
AA circuit. She mainly showed young and sale horses for her trainer, Skip
Lauinger. In the winter she travelled Palm Beach with Skip to work and
compete. Some of Jen’s biggest accomplishments as a junior include
winning the Tri-State Medal Finals and placing fourth in the Tri-State
Mini-Medal Finals.

After Jen aged out of the juniors she moved south for college, attending
the University of Delaware. She joined the UD Equestrian Team and was
the team captain for three years. In addition to being named the reserve
high point rider for the region four years in a row, she also led the team to
nationals, a first for the UD team.

After college Jen worked for 15 years in the veterinary pharmaceutical
industry before leaving to pursue her teaching and training full time.

Hilary Simons - Assistant Trainer

Our Assistant Trainer, Hilary Simons began riding at the age of 6 in Italy. She was invited
to join the Italian Junior Olympic team but moved back to the US at the age of 12. As a
junior she rode with trainers, Captain Julius Mihaly, Lindsay Upshaw and Mary Stokes
competing in the hunters, equitation and junior jumpers.

After she aged out she attended St. Lawrence University and joined their IHSA team. In
1980, she was first over fences and on the flat at Nationals. After college Hilary moved
back to PA, and began volunteering with the Brandywine Hounds Pony Club as well as
teaching private lessons. Two of her students qualified for Pony Club Nationals. In 1990,
she took a job as an assistant trainer to Mary Warner Brown at Derby Down. Hilary says
that Mary was, and still is, a huge influence in her teaching.

Today, Hilary is a 4th grade teacher at Westtown. Her two daughters also ride with Jen
and compete in the hunters and equitation.

Nancy Cannon - Barn Manager

Our Barn Manager, Nancy Cannon is a Wilmington, DE native who grew up riding
and showing. Her background includes working for Laurie Jakubauskas at LRJ

Enterprises and working as a working student at Cedar Crest Farm. Before that, she
worked as a Naturalist and Animal Keeper at the Brandywine Zoo. Nancy graduated
from Smith College with a degree in Biology.

Today she spends her time keeping Integrity Farms running. From scheduling to

grooming Scotch, the 25 year old grey Thoroughbred who insists on being a bay,
Nancy does it all. In addition to managing our operation, Nancy owns and shows
her own horse, Discovery in the jumpers.
